The program is part of DMCC's global trade promotion series - the largest commodities trade center in the Middle East, organized to open the door to cooperation between Dubai, one of the world's leading international trade hubs, and Vietnam, a dynamic economy on the path of deep integration. As a strategic accompanying partner, Jemmia - Vietnam's premium diamond brand made a strong impression by serving as a trade bridge between the two markets, contributing to the expansion of bilateral economic cooperation between Vietnam and Dubai.

Dubai: The gateway to the world and opportunities for Vietnamese businesses
The event was not only a meeting place for leaders and entrepreneurs but also an important forum to discuss the future of global trade, investment, and innovation, where Vietnamese businesses had the opportunity to directly access the latest development trends from the Middle East region.
Opening the program, Mr. Ahmed Bin Sulayem – Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DMCC shared about the positive bilateral relationship and economic development between Ho Chi Minh City and Dubai in recent years, while affirming the broad future vision between the two countries.

Mr. Dinh Cong Tuan – Head of the Representative Office of Dubai Chambers Vietnam – emphasized Dubai's strategic geographic location and world-leading business ecosystem. According to him, Dubai is now not only a luxurious city but also a global trade center, where goods, technology, and culture converge. With the advantage of having more than 2.5 billion people within a four-hour flight radius and 5 billion people within an eight-hour radius, Dubai has become an important transit point on the world economic map.
A report from the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) shows that the UAE economy – with Dubai as the driving force, currently ranks first in the Arab region in competitiveness, and is ranked by the World Bank and the World Economic Forum as the “best place to do business.” The DMCC ecosystem, established by Royal Decree in 2002, now brings together more than 25,000 businesses from 180 countries, operating on a comprehensive digital platform with a 100% foreign ownership mechanism and business-friendly tax policies.

Not only a center for gold, silver, gemstones, and energy, Dubai also leads the region in new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, the metaverse, and e-sports. The UAE government is accelerating digitalization strategies such as the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, Metaverse Strategy, and AI Universal Blueprint, aiming to make Dubai the “happiest city in the world,” where the economy, technology, and people develop sustainably together.
