DMCC, the largest commodities trading hub in the Middle East, was organized to open doors for cooperation between Dubai, one of the world's leading international trade centers, and Vietnam, a dynamic economy on the path to deep integration. In its role as a strategic partner, Jemmia – Vietnam's premium diamond brand – made a significant mark by acting as a trade bridge between the two markets, contributing to the expansion of bilateral economic cooperation between Vietnam and Dubai.

Dubai: Gateway to the World and Opportunities for Vietnamese Businesses
The event is not only a meeting place for leaders and entrepreneurs but also an important forum to discuss the future of global trade, investment, and innovation, where Vietnamese businesses have the opportunity to directly access the latest development trends from the Middle East.
Opening the program, Mr. Ahmed Bin Sulayem – Executive Chairman and CEO of DMCC – shared about the good bilateral relationship and economic development between Ho Chi Minh City and Dubai in recent years, while affirming the broad future vision between the two countries.

Mr. Dinh Cong Tuan – Head of the Dubai Chambers Vietnam Representative Office – emphasized Dubai's strategic geographical location and world-leading business ecosystem. According to him, Dubai is currently not just a luxurious city but also a global trade hub, a crossroads of goods, technology, and culture. With the advantage of over 2.5 billion people within a four-hour flight radius and 5 billion people within an eight-hour radius, Dubai has become an important transit point on the world economic map.
Reports from the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) show that the UAE economy – with Dubai as the leader – currently ranks first in the Arab region in terms of competitiveness, and is ranked by the World Bank and the World Economic Forum as the “best place to do business.” The DMCC ecosystem, established by Royal Decree in 2002, currently hosts over 25,000 companies from 180 countries, operating on a comprehensive digital platform with 100% foreign ownership and friendly tax policies.

Dubai is not only a center for gold, silver, precious stones, and energy, but also a regional leader in new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, metaverse, and e-sports. The UAE government is actively promoting digitalization strategies such as the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, Metaverse Strategy, and AI Universal Blueprint, aiming to make Dubai the “happiest city in the world,” where the economy, technology, and people develop sustainably.
