Re: On non-cash payment policy for gold jewelry and gold-containing product transactions from 20 million VND and above.

Dear Customers,

On August 26, 2025, the Government issued Decree No. 232/2025/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 24/2012/ND-CP dated April 3, 2012, on the management of gold trading activities, effective from October 10, 2025. Accordingly, in Clause 4, Article 1 of Decree 232/2025/ND-CP, Clause 10 of Article 4 of Decree No. 24/2012/ND-CP has been added as follows:

“Article 4. Management Principles

Payments for gold purchases and sales valued at VND 20 million or more by a customer must be made through the customer’s payment account and the payment account of the gold trading enterprise opened at a commercial bank, or a branch of a foreign bank”.

To ensure compliance with legal regulations, Jemmia Joint Stock Company respectfully informs all Customers:

From October 10, 2025, all transactions of buying, selling, exchanging, or depositing gold bars, gold jewelry, or gold-containing products (one or more times) with a total value of VND 20 million or more in a day at Jemmia's Stores/Websites/E-commerce Platforms/other sales channels, Customers are required to pay through their payment account and Jemmia's payment account.

  • Direct bank transfer from the account owner's bank account via the banking app or authorization of payment.

 

  • Credit Card, Prepaid Card.

  • E-wallets (MOMO, ZALOPAY, VNPAY, PAYOO,...)

  • Payment through intermediaries (COD, collection points at commercial centers,..)

  • Jemmia Gift Vouchers (cash/e-voucher).

  • Apple Pay/ Samsung Pay linked with Credit Card.

For transactions with a total value of less than VND 20,000,000 (in 1 day/ 1 customer), Customers can still pay flexibly using payment methods according to Jemmia's regulations.

This notification is issued to ensure transparency, legal compliance, and to protect the rights of our Customers.
