In the design of "Vu Khuc Thien Phuong," the moment the phoenix spreads its wings and soars into the sky is vividly depicted. In each graceful wing stroke, we see not only the spirit of freedom and aspiration to reach further, but also protection, shelter, strength, resilience, and readiness to face challenges.
With that powerful inspiration, Jemmia's designers spent over 240 hours meticulously perfecting the final sketch of "Vu Khuc Thien Phuong", Every line in the design is imbued with the proud and majestic spirit of the phoenix.
During her journey to discover cultural heritage, creator Jemmia was deeply moved by the image of the Twin Phoenixes on the front screen of the Truong Sanh Palace, Hue Imperial Citadel.
The Song Phụng Thọ (Phoenix Longevity) motif, featuring two symmetrical phoenixes embracing the character "Thọ" (longevity), is a quintessential symbol of Nguyễn Dynasty court art.
Beyond its graceful and powerful wings, the phoenix's eyes always exude a magical allure. The Pear diamond is the dazzling centerpiece, evoking the image of sharp, authoritative eyes, embodying the strength of foresight and profound wisdom of this mythical bird.
The Pear centerpiece is crafted with a unique technique that surpasses conventional standards. No longer using the familiar round prongs, Jemmia artisans employ the "Phoenix Setting" technique, modeled after the phoenix's claws. To ensure absolute precision, the artisan must skillfully place the diamond not only in the correct position but also to reflect light in the most brilliant way.
