Warranty and Product Buyback/Trade-in Policy

*Applicable to products supplied by JEMMIA.

I. REGULATIONS FOR INSPECTING GOODS UPON RECEIPT

  • Please carefully inspect the goods and the payment amount before leaving the counter. JEMMIA will not be responsible for any complaints or shortages after you leave the counter.

  • You need to keep the Sales Invoice, Product Certification, and Diamond Purchase Agreement (if any) for use in repurchase, exchange, and warranty services. JEMMIA reserves the right to refuse service if these documents are not fully provided.

II. EXCHANGE POLICY WITHIN 24 HOURS

  • JEMMIA accepts exchanges if the product has a manufacturing defect (not a defect arising during use). You must contact JEMMIA's Customer Care Department within 24 hours from the transaction time to request an exchange. JEMMIA will exchange at 100% of the product value (according to the invoice) and support 100% of the shipping fee for the exchanged product.

  • "Transaction time" is determined as:

    • Goods received at the store: The time the sales invoice is issued.

    • Goods delivered to the requested address: The time the shipping unit confirms delivery.

  • The product must remain intact. You may exchange it for another product, regardless of whether it is in the same or a different product group, except for gold bars, plain bands, and fortune gold products. For jewelry settings, if the center stone has already been mounted, the customer will bear the center setting replacement fee (if an exchange is requested).

  • If the new product has a higher value, the customer will pay the difference. If the new product has a lower value, JEMMIA will not refund the difference.

  • JEMMIA only accepts one exchange per product and does not support returns. Details of the repurchase/exchange process after 24 hours are described in Section III.

III. WARRANTY POLICY

  1. Wedding rings

    • Warranty period: 03 years from the transaction time;

    • Lifetime refinishing, polishing, and ultrasonic cleaning services.

    • Free ring size adjustment. Customers bear the fee in cases where resizing requires additional gold (calculated according to the listed gold purity price at the payment time and the resizing labor cost).

  2. Other jewelry (diamond jewelry, jewelry settings, colored gemstone jewelry)

    • Warranty period: 06 months from the transaction time for technical defects and plating.

    • Free lifetime warranty for polishing services.

    • Free jewelry size adjustment. Customers bear the fee in cases where resizing requires additional gold (calculated according to the listed gold purity price at the payment time and the resizing labor cost).

    • In cases where you only purchase a jewelry setting (or gemstone) and bring in a gemstone (or jewelry setting) from outside, you will receive free stone setting/mounting.

    • In case a ring setting loses a side stone:

      • Side stones smaller than 1.1 ly will be replaced free of charge.

      • Side stones from 1.1 ly and above will be charged according to JEMMIA's current selling price.

  3. Warranty does not apply in the following cases

    • Products that are broken; deformed, or severely damaged.

    • You provide inaccurate information for sales invoice retrieval.

    • In cases where the center stone falls out, or the center stone is scratched, chipped, cracked, or no longer intact during your use, storage, or preservation, JEMMIA will not apply the warranty policy.

*The warranty policy may change according to JEMMIA's policy from time to time.

IV. REPURCHASE – EXCHANGE POLICY

  1. General policy

    • The repurchase/exchange rate is calculated based on the product value on the sales invoice issued by JEMMIA to you.

    • The product must remain intact, with no weight discrepancy, and the stone must not be scratched, cracked, or chipped.

    • For products that are no longer intact or without a sales invoice, JEMMIA will repurchase or exchange based on agreement, depending on the condition of the product, or reserves the right to refuse repurchase or exchange. In this case, JEMMIA will retain the product you wish to repurchase/exchange to inspect its condition and value and make payment to you according to the payment policy for repurchased/exchanged products applicable at that time.

    • When reselling a product to JEMMIA, all product quality inspection costs will be borne by you.

    • Warranty, repurchase, and exchange policies may vary depending on the product type and promotional programs at different times.

    • In some cases (for example, if you request a non-refundable purchase at a special price), JEMMIA will not commit to repurchase/exchange, and this will be clearly stated on the Sales Invoice for such orders. JEMMIA only supports consignment and resale to other customers if you have such a need. The consignment of products in this case will follow the policy announced by JEMMIA from time to time.

  2. Repurchase – exchange time & method

    • When you need to repurchase or exchange a product, please contact Jemmia by the following methods:

      • The hotline number posted on the Website;

      • Contact via JEMMIA's Facebook channel;

      • Visit a JEMMIA store directly for consultation and appointment scheduling.

    • Repurchase/exchange is only processed directly at JEMMIA offices at the following addresses:

      • Ho Chi Minh City branch: 72 Nguyen Cu Trinh, Ben Thanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

      • Hanoi branch: 63 Kim Ma, Giang Vo Ward, Hanoi City.

      • Can Tho branch: 209 30 Thang 4 Street, Ninh Kieu Ward, Can Tho City.

    • When coming to a JEMMIA office for product repurchase/exchange, please bring the product together with all documents including the Sales Invoice, Product Certification, Diamond Purchase Agreement (if any), and your identification documents (Citizen ID card or passport).

    • JEMMIA offices will only process product repurchase/exchange from Monday to Friday during working hours (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays according to the Labor Code). Outside of these times, JEMMIA will receive requests and resolve them on the next working day.

    • JEMMIA only accepts product repurchase/exchange if you still retain all required documents including the Sales Invoice, GIA Certification (for the center stone), and the product remains intact, undamaged, unchipped, undeformed, or unbroken.

    • If you lose the Sales Invoice, JEMMIA will support, though it is not JEMMIA's obligation, searching and cross-checking with stored data. If JEMMIA can verify the order information, JEMMIA will support repurchase/exchange according to the policy and deduct fees according to JEMMIA's current policy.

    • If the GIA-certified center diamond loses its GIA certificate, JEMMIA reserves the right to refuse repurchase/exchange or only exchange at a price agreed upon by both parties.

    • JEMMIA will refuse repurchase/exchange for center diamonds that are cracked, chipped, scratched, or show signs of being affected by temperature, pressure, chemicals, etc., leading to the risk of changing the diamond's quality compared to its original condition.

    • For jewelry that is cracked, broken, or deformed, JEMMIA only supports repurchase/exchange based on the actual gold value after reweighing the product. JEMMIA reserves the right to refuse repurchase/exchange if the jewelry or diamond has been modified or structurally altered (including resizing, plating, polishing) by an entity not affiliated with JEMMIA.

    • JEMMIA may refuse repurchase/exchange if the person requesting repurchase/exchange is different from the person who placed the order/made payment to JEMMIA and the product shows signs of fraud or legal violations.

  3. Payment policy for repurchased/exchanged products

    • Payment method: Bank transfer.

    • Payment deadline: within a maximum of 48 hours from the time JEMMIA receives the product handover from you, specifically as follows:

      • If you hand over the product to JEMMIA on Monday morning (before 12:00), the inspection and payment procedures will be completed by JEMMIA before 12:00 on Wednesday.

      • If you hand over the product to JEMMIA on Monday afternoon (from 12:00 onward), the inspection and payment procedures will be completed by JEMMIA before 18:00 on Wednesday

      • If you hand over the product to JEMMIA on Saturday (before 18:00), the inspection and payment procedures will be completed by JEMMIA before 18:00 on the following Tuesday.

    • Repurchase/exchange and payment may be temporarily suspended in force majeure cases as prescribed by law, such as war, terrorism, epidemic, natural disaster, earthquake, tsunami, etc., or at times when the government declares a state of disaster, curfew, or martial law.

VI. PAYMENT REGULATIONS

Based on Decree 24/2012/NĐ-CP dated 03/04/2012 on the management of gold trading activities and Decree No. 232/2025/NĐ-CP dated 26/08/2025 of the Government amending a number of articles of Decree 24/2012/NĐ-CP. Therefore, from 10/10/2025, Jemmia Diamond officially applies new payment regulations across the entire system:

  • Transactions (purchase, sale, purchase + sale) in 1 day by 1 customer under 20 million VND: Customers may pay in cash or by bank transfer.

  • Transactions (purchase, sale, purchase + sale) in 1 day by 1 customer from 20 million VND or more. Payment by bank transfer is mandatory from your payment account to Jemmia Diamond's payment account.

VII. IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Diamonds and jewelry are valuable assets, so customers should note during use not to let these products rub against or collide with each other; when storing products in a box, each product should be placed in a separate compartment and lined with soft fabric.

  • Loose diamonds for purchase and exchange must remain in their original condition, without scratches, cracks, or chips.

  • Customers are encouraged to LIMIT WEARING DIAMONDS AND JEWELRY when playing sports, doing housework, gardening, or working with chemicals or in situations involving impact that may damage diamonds and jewelry.

  • For diamonds with weak top sizes, the repurchase – exchange rate is applied as for the next highest value diamond size (Example: diamonds measuring 5.98 ly – 6.02 ly are applied as 6.0 ly).

  • For products/orders that customers bought, sold, or exchanged before this policy takes effect, the exchange rate stated on the invoice shall apply.
